Our veterinarians continuously strive to improve their level of care by staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in veterinary medicine. Additionally, our veterinary staff are always looking to improve in their areas of expertise. We do all this and more because your pets are worth it!
Monica Rogers, DVM Owner/Veterinarian
Dr. Rogers graduated from Auburn University School of Veterinary Medicine in 1985, and she has been practicing small animal medicine in the Pasadena, La Porte, and Deer Park areas for over thirty years. She is a member of many professional organizations including the American Veterinary Medical Association, the Texas Veterinary Medical Association, the Harris County Veterinary Medical Association, and the prestigious Texas Academy of Veterinary Practice. She is also a member of the Veterinary Committee for the Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo.
Wendi Schumacher, DVM Veterinarian
Dr. Schumacher graduated from the University of Missouri College of Veterinary Medicine in 2005. After graduation, she moved to Lubbock, Texas and began practicing small animal medicine. Dr. Schumacher moved to the Houston area in 2016 with her husband and their young son. She enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, and scuba diving. Dr. Schumacher is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association and the Texas Veterinary Medical Association.
Samantha Hauke, DVM Veterinarian
Dr. Hauke graduated in 2016 from the Colorado State School of Veterinary Medicine, and she moved to Texas soon after graduation. She works with us on an ad hoc basis to help with busy times and when one of our other vets are out. Dr. Hauke enjoys scuba diving and biking and was the Skijoring National Champion in 2003, 2004, and 2009. She and her husband share their home with Eligh, their Sphynx kitty, and a 21-year old African Grey Parrot named Noel.
Stacey Aubin, CVPM Practice Manager
Stacey has been working for Bay-Porte Animal Hospital as practice manager for more than twenty years. In 2009, she received her certification by the Veterinary Hospital Managers Association, becoming one of only a few Certified Veterinary Practice Managers in the Houston area.
Our outstanding veterinary nursing team includes Heather, Christina, Alejandra, Rachael, Susan, and Toni.
Our friendly customer service team includes, April, our office manager, Laura Jean, Beverly, and Kiara.
Our skilled kennel team includes Linda and Janice.
