Our veterinarians continuously strive to improve their level of care by staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in veterinary medicine. Additionally, our veterinary staff are always looking to improve in their areas of expertise. Our team does all this and more because your pets are worth it!
Monica Rogers, DVM Owner/Veterinarian
Dr. Rogers graduated from Auburn University School of Veterinary Medicine in 1985, and she has been practicing small animal medicine in the Pasadena, La Porte, and Deer Park areas for over thirty years. She is a member of many professional organizations including the American Veterinary Medical Association, the Texas Veterinary Medical Association, the Harris County Veterinary Medical Association, and the prestigious Texas Academy of Veterinary Practice. She is also a member of the Veterinary Committee for the Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo.
Wendi Schumacher, DVM Veterinarian
Dr. Schumacher graduated from the University of Missouri College of Veterinary Medicine in 2005. After graduation, she moved to Lubbock, Texas and began practicing small animal medicine. Dr. Schumacher moved to the Houston area in 2016 with her husband and their young son. She enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, and scuba diving. Dr. Schumacher is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association and the Texas Veterinary Medical Association.
Laura Eickelman, DVM Veterinarian
Dr. Eickelman has been interested in veterinary medicine since she was little. Her passion for the subject has taken her all over the world—she has visited veterinary schools and practices throughout Europe, Alabama, Florida, and South Carolina. Dr. Eickelman graduated from Texas A & M University School of Veterinary Medicine with her DVM in 2014. After graduation, she moved back to Pearland to practice small animal medicine for five years. Dr. Eickelman is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association and the Texas Veterinary Medical Association. Her special interests include preventative medicine, senior pet care, and pain management.
When she’s not at work, she enjoys traveling as well as hanging out with friends and family, including her dogs, Chuck and Remi.
