Heather Brister - Hospital Manager

Heather Brister is our valued Hospital Manager at Bay-Porte Animal Hospital.

Heather has been with the Bay-Porte Animal Hospital team for over 27 years. She began as a veterinary technician specializing in surgery with a passion for emergency and dentistry. For the last two years, she has led the team as their hospital manager. Heather loves the opportunity to now work with clients, patients, and staff. She is passionate about supporting quality medicine and providing exceptional customer service to the community.

Heather is a Deer Park, Texas native but is currently living in Wharton on a small farm with her husband Juan, son Aron, and their 5 dogs, 4 cats, a herd of goats, chickens, and ducks. She enjoys traveling, outdoor activities including hunting and fishing, karate and mixed martial arts, gardening, and living a homestead life.
